Built in the style of an old captain’s mansion and surrounded by a picturesque garden, this charming villa is located in upmarket Pitioussa residential neighbourhood within walking distance of the old harbour’s lively restaurant and bar scene. Entering the garden, the aroma of jasmine and the colors of bougainvillea create an uplifting, harmonious environment, where guests are likely to spend many hours of the day. Drinks can be enjoyed in the comfortable built-in stone seating corner and lunch or dinner under the pergola with the fans, surrounded by flowers and a cypress and olive tree. One additional seating area and the salt-water swimming pool with the four pool-beds and a wooden swing await the guest for a refreshing swim before or after exploring the island’s beaches and lazy hours sunbathing or enjoying the alfresco living. The villa is comfortable for families with a bedroom for kids on the ground floor and two more bedrooms on the lower ground level. The master bedroom on the upper floor has an ensuite bathroom and a small private balcony and, as all the bedrooms, is furnished and decorated with traditional elements, kilims, paintings, while the wooden ceilings and floors add character. The high-ceiling and bright indoor sitting space with the sofas, the wooden details in light blue color and the vintage cupboard and fireplace reference the island’s history combining the country style with antiques and traditional details. The villa is within walking distance of the Old Harbour, with good tavernas and cosmopolitan restaurants, while the main town and port can be accessed with a nice stroll of 20-25 minute distance, or by taxi, bike or motorcycle. Two nearby beaches, Gariffalo and Paradise Beach, can be accessed on foot, in 5 and 15 minutes respectively, while sea taxis can take you to the island’s most famous beaches.
